I have set a personal record for the completion of my Christmas preparations. Now that it's Dec 20 I would typically be just beginning the task of shopping for gifts, but I'm already done. They're all wrapped, tagged, bagged and either waiting for delivery or already shipped out. The wrapping stuff is all put away and all that mess cleaned up.
Cards were mailed a little later than usual but I think they'll still make it in time. Hey, I had to do something late or it just wouldn't seem like Christmas.
I even got adventurous and made some chocolate chip cookies. They were awesome, by the way. If I can find the chocolate I was looking for I may even make another batch just to see if they come out even better. Who'd have thought it would be so hard to find Ghirardelli 60% Cacao Bittersweet Chocolate Chips?
